Following last week’s article, which you can read HERE if you missed it, we continue to showcase the benefits of a mobile app, this time focusing on the event day itself. We truly believe the app’s value will repay you many times over if you invest a little time in it and make it a trusted ally.

When discussing sustainable events, one key category is communication. Communication includes internal team coordination as well as external messaging to attendees. In that context, the use of mobile applications is often raised.

Today we'll continue with tips on how to make your event more appealing to attendees and how to create an event where they will feel welcome and keep coming back — especially people with disabilities, who unfortunately have often been underserved. Last time we touched on topics such as venue selection, destination, contracting, registration, and marketing; today we'll focus more on event design and post-event procedures, with one special tip.

When organizing online events, the pressure is intense for a number of reasons. Event managers must justify the price to clients, keep attendees focused so the experience remains engaging and converts them into future visitors, while also making the event profitable and distinct from what's currently offered on the market.

Sponsors are a crucial part of every event. In an era when even some sponsors need sponsors themselves, it is essential that you impress them with compelling ideas so they choose to join your event and become valuable promoters.

Spring is already in full swing. Why not take advantage of everything spring offers and make your event—the most beautiful gathering of the year, even if it’s small, in a year when gatherings have become such a rarity.

The coronavirus has turned the events world upside down. At some point, in-person events will return — most likely with a surge of bookings in Q2 or Q3 2021 — but the overall feel of events may never be the same.

Mentally go back to the start of 2020 and imagine someone told you this: the event you'll be organizing later this year or next will include multiple locations simultaneously with a virtual audience across several time zones, a mix of pre-recorded content and live presentations, collaboration between on-site and online audiences, and separate networking opportunities for each audience.

As more virtual and hybrid events are organized, the question of attendee engagement becomes increasingly important. Too often, attendees tune in from home while cooking, ironing, cleaning, or playing with their children and listen with only one ear.
